Meet The Coaches

My name is Jumha, and ever since I started walking I had the urge to try and be the best at every physical endeavor I took part in. Competitiveness was always apart of my nature for better or worse and that definitely helped in school sports, but outside of that it hurt me.

It affected how I viewed myself, what I saw in the mirror, and how “worthy” I felt. You see, I wasn’t overweight, I was actually really scrawny but if you saw me at the pool or the beach with my friends I ALWAYS had a shirt on.  I felt like if I didn’t have a six pack or “the best body” I didn’t deserve to have my shirt off. Nobody I ever saw on television was shirtless UNLESS they had a six pack and muscles, how could little old me ever dream of being shirtless?!

I started bodybuilding to boost my self esteem and help me with my dreams of playing pro football (I later found out that my lifting style probably wasn’t best for that). It wasn’t until I started helping other people with their training journey that I realized I wasn’t the only one with self-image issues and that maybe the problem wasn’t external at all. It was all in my head; I created my own self-limiting belief and it held me back – big time.

Fast forward to becoming an NCAA collegiate athlete that was pursuing an engineering degree and my understanding of training and nutrition had improved drastically! I worked hand in hand with my coaches to design training programs for the track team and we were able to improve every athlete’s time/distance tremendously! I decided to take my talents to the corporate gym world while in school  to further continue learning and applying myself.

As time went on, I used real nutritional strategies that started to transform the bodies and mind of my clients. They started to experience lower levels of stress and anxiety while showing greater confidence in themselves everywhere they went! The confidence was contagious, it led me to learn more, do better, and help so many people! I went on to help hundreds of people – and counting – feel more confident in themselves, look better, be stronger, and just enjoy an overall improved quality of life!

Once I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Engineering though I had a decision to make and it wasn’t easy but I felt that I was being led to my true calling the entire time.

I’ve been so successful with it already, why not continue to be a direct impact on more people’s lives?

It was all just so fascinating to me. Not only the fact that I have all these tools to manipulate how one performs or looks, but also how they think, and the mindset strength one can build through training and nutrition. It’s something that nobody should ignore, because it’s a tool to more power, clarity and happiness.

The fact of the matter is, there’s a lot misinformation in the fitness and nutrition space – odds are you’ve heard a bunch of different things from a bunch of different people that probably contradicts itself – and that makes it hard to be confident with the process that you’re taking part in.

That’s why I started StoopidFit, a lifestyle coaching platform to take out the complexity of it all and make it as simple as possible for you! So you can enjoy your life to the potential it was meant to be enjoyed!

Everyone deserves to be happy, and you can't do that when you don't like the way you look!

Apply To Work With Hamoody!

Hi! My name is Mohammad Abdullah and, yes, i LOVE fitness, since i was a youngin all I wanted was to go outside and be active and join as many sports teams as possible. I wasn’t the smartest kid in school, so playing sports and exercising was sort of my way of beating the other kids at something. That mentality followed me as I grew older too. As you could imagine, I was the guy at the gym that wanted to be the faster and stronger than everyone else. I thought fitness was a competition between everyone around you, but as I made my way down through my fitness journey, I spoke to more and more people and realized…I have a lot of learning I need to do.

Everyone can teach you something you didn’t know; whether it’s exercising properly or eating the best way for your goals, because the truth is nobody is perfect – and that’s ok! We are all here trying to better ourselves and help each other on the way. That’s what fitness is all about, and that’s my role on this journey.

The biggest reason I decided to become a coach is because I love to inspire people; help them make the right choices, whether that’s what food to eat or how to train, even finding a healthy mindset to work in! I genuinely enjoy helping others better themselves in any way possible. And I think it starts with a simple progression, it just takes one step at a time.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT HELPING OTHERS ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS?

I have the ability to show others how strong they really are, we all have that fighter inside us, sometimes we just need that extra push to help us unleash it. At the end of the day you make the choice to be better, I’m just the guide that helps you get there

MOST MEMORABLE CLIENT SUCCESS STORY

The most memorable client story I ever had was actually with my first ever client, her name is Nadine, 60 years young, had countless surgeries on her left leg, years of Physical Therapy, and was still left to believe by all the professionals that she would never be able to walk without a cane again. With some smart programming though we were able to get her to ditch the cane completely after just three months of training together! We still train together to this day and i haven’t seen the cane since then. I can’t express how proud I am to be her coach.
